Things to do – Walking Book Club

Hello Residents – You have a walking book club in your midst!

Having been inspired by the Hampstead Walking Book Club, the Ealing Walking Book Club (EWBC) was created just over 10 years ago and happily continues to strive. We meet monthly, on the third Thursday of the month, and walk in Pitshanger Park (for approximately 1 hour), discussing a book, proposed by a different member of the group each month and finishing up with a coffee in the Park Café. In bad weather, we meet at a member’s home or in a local café …..amazingly, this has rarely happened!  We focus on exploring the themes and issues raised in the narrative rather than discussing the actual writing and format of the books.

To give you a sense of the variety of books which we have read over the years and what is coming up, see our website

All are welcome, including babies in buggies and dogs – do come and join us.  We meet at 11 am at the Meadvale Gate of Pitshanger Park (opposite Barnfield Road).
