Archive – Brentham Institute

Artist’s impression of the original design

The Brentham Institute  (now The Brentham Club) was at the heart of the community when the estate was first built. It was originally designed as a much larger building.  The Brentham archive holds many photographs, documents and publications from its earlier years.

Only about a third of the original design was actually built – including the iconic Tower.

The Institute was the place for sporting activities, educational purposes, entertainment and social gatherings. Archive material related to these is currently being prepared for display here.
