The gardening group meet in members’ homes from 7.30-9.30 pm on the third Thursday of each month from April to October. Members discuss gardens/shows they have visited, (both in this country and abroad), gardening problems and exchange useful tips, plants and seeds. They also organise the annual Brentham Open Garden event held in June. The meetings are informal and if you are new to the Brentham Estate it’s a good way to make some new contacts/friends. New members are very welcome – you don’t need to have any expertise just enthusiasm for growing flowers, shrubs and trees and a desire to maintain/improve the look of the estate.
