Planning Applications

The Brentham Society is advised by Ealing Planning Department of all submitted planning applications relating to the Brentham Conservation Area.

At one time nearby residents and those likely to be affected by an application were informed by Ealing Council. This reminded them that they had an opportunity to comment. Ealing Council no longer does this and so we are providing details here of applications notified to the society.

Users can find out more about an individual application by visiting the Ealing Council Planning Department website here  and searching their database using the APPREF (see below) or by entering an address.

Applications submitted during the last five years can be found here: 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, (the lists include their APPREF).

During 2018 – there were 44 applications submitted of which 27 were granted, 7 were refused and 10 (as at 1st January 2019) were pending a decision. Some applications covered more than one type of change but 40% included replacement of windows and/or doors, 25% were for extensions, 25% related to garden buildings and garages and 8% were for loft conversions. A small number were for work on existing features or related to paths, fences and means of enclosure.
