Separated by Lockdown but together in remembrance. This little corner of London found a way to safely come together to remember. Some remembered living through WW2 in London, others remembered coming to England on Kindertransport and never seeing their parents and families again. Many heard these stories from their neighbours for the first time. A poignant reminder of how one event can so drastically impact people’s lives in very different ways. But despite their differences, they can still unite together in celebration, remembrance and, as recent events have shown us, to help those less fortunate than themselves.
