May Queen Crowned

2018 – Grace Connett

Despite the rain the annual May Day procession went ahead as planned but the dancing  took place in St Barnabas Church rather than on the Brentham Club playing fields.

1985 – Tamsin Gilbert

Grace Connett was crowned May Queen 2018 following in the footsteps of her mother Tamsin who was May Queen in 1985.

Beautiful Grace, absolute class. But where is the 2019 May Queen Juliet Termos?

  2. Jan Shapley says:

How lovely to see that the Mayday festivities continue. I was May Queen in 1963 and have fond memories and many photographs of the day. Later, as a young mum I took over organising Mayday for a few years. Although I no longer live in Ealing, I hope the tradition continues for many years to come. Best wishes to all those taking part this year, Janet Shapley (nee Hutchins).

Brilliant! Feels like a little country village – don’t it?!

  4. It was a lovely event as always despite the bad weather. Congratulations to May Day Queen Grace Connett.
